Girls' Generation

Girls' Generation or So Nyeo Shi Dae in Korean has got to be my favorite girl band now.. They are also called SNSD or Soshi.. Formed under SM Entertainment, SNSD is made of nine Korean girls and join the likes of Super Junior, Kangta and DBSK under the same label.. The nine girls are TaeYeon, Tiffany, Yoona, Jessica, SooYoung, Sunny, HyoYeon, Yuri, and SeoHyun..

SNSD is a love them or hate them kind of group.. SNSD has more haters than fans I dare say.. But I love them.. I really dont understand why people hate them so much.. They are not fake, people.. They CAN sing and they CAN dance.. If people wanna bash no-talent groups, they can start with Wonder Girls and Kara.. NOT SNSD.. But I'd prefer if no one hates anyone.. I DO listen to Wonder Girls and Kara as well..

TaeYeon

TaeYeon is the leader of SNSD.. She's 20 years old and one of the prettiest members I can say.. Dont judge her by her petite looks, TaeYeon is the lead vocalist for SNSD.. She is currently also a DJ and has a few solo singles..

Tiffany

Tiffany was born in San Francisco, California and lived in USA for most of her life before moving to Korea.. She's 20 years old and was discovered in the SM Starlight Casting System 2004 when it was held in Los Angeles.. She also has a good voice and does a few duets with other artistes and solos.. Often regarded as the member who makes the most mistakes in their dance routines, Tiffany has probably the most haters due to her outspoken nature.. Honestly I dont get why people dont understand that she's from a different culture and that those who were apparently "insulted" by her remarks should grow up.. Tiffany is currently my favorite member of the group..

Yoona

One of the tall members of SNSD.. A good singer and dancer, Yoona is only 19 years old.. She's the first member of SNSD as she was already an SM trainee for a long time before SNSD.. Yoona has a great sense of humor.. She also models and acts in movies and dramas..

Jessica

Another American-born, Jessica has a sweet voice and is only 20 years old.. She does a few solo and duets and does occasional English radio interviews along with Tiffany.. Jessica is also one of the small-sized members.. She has a younger sister, Krystal, who is a member of another KPop band called f(x)

SooYoung

SooYoung is one of those loud characters with a great sense of humor.. She dances very well and has an ok voice.. Only 19 years old, SooYoung is almost always goofing around..

Sunny

Sunny trained under another company before joining SM not long before SNSD's debut.. This 20 year old is known as the cute member.. Acting cute seems to be her hobby/skill/talent/gift.. LoL.. She is also Lee Soo Man's niece.. Lee Soo Man is the founder of SM Entertainment..

HyoYeon

She is the lead dancer for SNSD.. Not one with the best vocals, HyoYeon is a great dancer with way better skills than the other members.. Also just 20 years old, HyoYeon is also a funny person and attended a dancing school in China..

Yuri

Yuri joined SM as the winner of their Youth Best Dancer Contest back in 2001.. She has since played small roles in movies and sitcoms not to mention a few appearances in music videos of other artistes.. She is also 20 years old and she has a good voice..

SeoHyun

The youngest member of SNSD, SeoHyun is only 18 years old and called the maknae which is what they call the youngest in Korea.. She has a sweet voice but a very straight character.. Usually not the life of the party, SeoHyun has a habit of going to bed at 12am no matter what because she says "its the time cells regenerate".. She is still schooling..
