New Beginning?

A new layout. A new design. A fresh start.

I thought it was about time I changed my blog layout and this skin suits my "Day Dreams" theme/title. I have been talking about making videos but honestly I don't know what to talk about.

Photography experiments are still a work in progress as I am finding models who are willing to go through the frustration of having me as their photographer. I am also looking for inspiration as to what concept, location, and style I should use.

To those few followers who still read my blog, please leave a comment giving me your honest opinions and suggestions. You can also Tweet me or post on my Facebook wall. Would really appreciate it. Since you guys are the readers, YOU choose what you want to see. So please let me know.

I really need to do things. Been very lifeless lately.

Till then.

Genie..!!

I JUST CANT WAIT!

SNSD/Girls' Generation has just released their MV for the Japanese version of Tell Me Your Wish (Genie). All 9 girls looks amazing in the video and I'd have to say its the best start to my day ever! Yoona to me is the fairest of them all and it really makes me love her more. What can I say? Yoona is my dream girl.

The girls made their debut in Japan with their album New Beginning of Girls' Generation and Genie is the first Japanese MV for SNSD. I really hope they do well in Japan. Most SM artistes do pretty well in Japan.

SNSD and the rest of the Kpop lot will be heading to Singapore and I really hope I can get tickets to see them. I wanna go for as many concerts to see them as a can. I wanna see Yoona in person!

Greeted by an unlikely neighbor in the morning..

I woke up in the morning (no I did not feel like P.Diddy) and heard birds outside my window. Now because my window has that cool but annoying feature of not being able to see through when its bright, I get to observe the birds while they stare at their own reflection. Decided to take a few pictures and here's what I got.

4 days, 3 nights, 2 guys, 1 city...

I was in KL recently with Melvin. We decided to get away from Penang and visit a few friends there while fulfilling our craving for the awesome fast-food that never came to our little island.

We took the Aeroline bus to KL and tested our navigational skills with the public transport. We eventually arrived at Sunway Pyramid and without hesitation rushed our asses to Wendy's. Nothing tasted better than a Wendy's burger at that very moment. Not even Ask Me Burger back home in Penang.

on board entertainment..

Wendy's vs Burger King

Penny came to the Pyramid and took us back to her place where we were crashing. After a long chat, we find ourselves at Asia Cafe. I had a less than satisfying bowl of Bibimbap which is a Korean dish while Melvin had his own disappointments in his orange juice. Watched The Sorcerer's Apprentice at 1Utama and went for supper at this nasi kandar place. The roti planta back in Penang tastes SO MUCH BETTER!

Korean Bibimbap vs Japanese Udon

Melvin and I went to Sunway Lagoon the very next day. I know its a little weird for two teenage boys to go to Sunway Lagoon together but then we were ditched by two others whose names I will not mention. the Lagoon is a lot different from how I remembered it to be but it was a pretty enjoyable day. I overcame my fear of that damn swinging Pirate Ship although the one at the Lagoon is nothing compared to the one I first sat in Australia's Sea World 9 years ago.

Dinner was at Asia Cafe again and this time I attempted Japanese udon. Not too bad. Joel Brown and Benny Ng were there too. PFS mini-reunion.

dessert that tastes like heaven!

We put our navigational skills to the test again by driving down to the heart of KL. We explored Sungei Wang Plaza, Berjaya Times Square, and Low Yatt Plaza. Walking down Bintang Walk, I cant help but feel like I'm in Singapore but only less developed. Like the Singapore 10 years ago. Dinner that night was at the highly recommended Murni. I would definitely go back there for a meal or two before I go to the states because the food there is as good as all my friends said it was and the menu is just full of variety.

Our final day was spent mostly in cars, buses, and planes. We took an AirAsia flight back to Penang and that was it. I'm definitely going to visit KL again before I leave this country and next time I'll include Genting Highlands in my plans. I'm also hoping to be able to visit Sabah and Sarawak.

This is by far the longest post ever this year and I'll leave you guys with some of the pictures I took. Till my next post, bye. =)

Lucifer~!

SHINee recently made their comeback about two weeks ago with their title track Lucifer dominating the charts. At least that's what I think. Anyway the song has nothing to do with the Lucifer from the bible.

I don't think there's much to talk about here except the fact that I'm totally hooked on this song. I'm loving the dance as well. So here's the MV for Lucifer by SHINee:

This is a video of SHINee's dance practice. You might noticed the slight difference in the moves and the song arrangement. This video was probably taken during the recording period of the album and therefore the boys had to work with the unfinished song.
