I did some research on the book and I've discovered that Elizabeth, Liz as she's known in the movie, had her whole trip already paid for in advance with the money she acquired from the book deal for "Eat, Pray, Love".
*SPOILER ALERT!*
"Eat, Pray, Love" is a memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert which chronicles her trip around the world after her divorce and what she had learned throughout the trip. She went to Italy to enjoy the food and then headed to India where she lived in an ashram in hopes of finding her spirituality. She ended the year-long trip in Bali, Indonesia where she, with the help of a medicine man named Ketut, tried to find balance and along the way, found love. This movie stars Julia Roberts as Liz, Javier Bardem, and James Franco.
RIGHT: Ketut! The freaking cute ahjussi medicine man. LOL
OK I'm not elaborating any further. It was a Wednesday and that means movie day with cheap ticket prices! Not that I watch a different movie every Wednesday. I invited a few friends and those who could make it were Chiayi, and MelBelle. Mind you, MelBelle is codename for Melvin & Maybelle. ;) Basically, Chiayi and I were like streetlamps with newly installed light bulbs. If you get what I mean.
The four of us had dinner at Kapitan @ Gurney Tower. Melvin kept on eating, Belle and I mixed up our orders, and Chiayi ordered something that looked like..... I really don't know what it looks like. Ha ha.
Girl, checking out hot guy.
Boy, checking out hot girl.
The irony in this is that they're dating. =P
I'm connected to my Tweeps 24/7.
My Lemon Chicken.
Chiayi's mysterious dish. @_@
Rushed to the cinema and managed to get in before the show started. It was an inspiring movie with lots of laughs. The night ended with us having a little chat over drinks @ Coffee Island.
That is not a good candid of me. =S
Retard. lol
Chiayi's on the left, and my giant version on the right.
We even have the same phone. Someone's gonna kill me.
*COUGHclementCOUGH*
LEFT: MelBelle.
RIGHT: Melvin & myself.
Melvin (I SEE BELLY!), Chiayi, and myself.
You can tell easily that this picture wasn't taken by a pro. *COUGHmelvinCOUGH*
Rating: 8/10?
I don't normally think so highly of a movie of this genre. I'm an action movie/fantasy kind of person.
